Aftermarket BMW X3(E83) Autoradio GPS system retains all the original functions(FM/AM/Sirius/XM/CD) and add the following functions: GPS Navigation/Bluetooth(phone call and music)/SD/USB/Backup camera(optional)/Apple Carplay(optional)/Android Auto(optional)/Wi-Fi/10.25" touchscreen. It only replaces the current storage box on the dashboard panel with a 10.25 inch touchscreen. You can still operate the original CD/FM/AM/Sirius system as before(knobs on the original radio panel, steering wheel control) and operate the new system via touchscreen and iDrive knob(comes with our product).

NOTE:

1. If you car has AUX-IN port, then our product send audio signal to OEM head unit via AUX-IN port. You don't need to buy anything else to make it work. All necessary accessories are included.
2. If your car does not have AUX-IN port, then you need to buy our FM Transmiter to send the audio to OEM head unit.
3. This product is compatible with BMW E83 with storage box or factory screen. But the accessories are different. Please select the correct model of your car when place the order.

4. If your car is BMW X3(E83) LHD(left hand drive), you can add our iDrive knob(the left one as shown in below photo) which replaces the existing cup holder. Then you can operate the radio upgrade system through iDrive knob and touchscreen.
If your car is BMW X3(E83) RHD(right hand drive), then the cup holder is opposite, but you can choose the round iDrive(the right one as shown in below photo). It sits in the cup holder.

Is this product plug and play? Do I need to program or code my BMW? Do I need to buy external GPS antenna? Can I still check the car info as the OEM screen?
Answer: Yes, it is totally plug and play, it has the same plugs and harness as original BMW system. You do not need to program your car when installation, totally plug and play. All necessary accessories are included in the package. You do not need to buy anything else to make it work. You can still check the original BMW car info as before.

How do I switch the new Android system to the original BMW CCC/CIC/NBT/EVO interface?
Answer: Please tap “Car-info” icon on the home screen OR long press (3 seconds) MENU button on iDrive to switch to original CCC/CIC/NBT/EVO interface.

How do I switch the original BMW CCC/CIC/NBT/EVO interface to new Android system?
Answer: Please tap the screen or long press (3 seconds) MENU button on iDrive.

Why it shows “No signal” when tap “Car-info” or switch back to original BMW interface?
Answer: Please check the LVDS port. Make sure you connect the LVDS plug (removed from the OEM screen) to the new screen.

Why there is no audio from new Android system?
Answer:

If your car has original storage box.

1. Please check the AUX-IN cord. Make sure it is plugged in the AUX-IN port on your car.

2. Press AUDIO and choose AUX.

3. Adjust the AUX volume. AUX/AUX-VOL/Rotate the right knob to adjust the volume.


If your car has OEM screen, please check Entertainment/External audio input (AUX front)/activate. 
CD/Entertainment/External devices/External audio input (AUX front)/activate.

Why does the Sirius/XM radio, original car computer info and factory camera does not display? Why does the AUX-IN volume stucks on zero and not adjustable?
Answer: Please check the fiber optics plug, you need to move it from the original connector to new connector we provided.

My car has factory backup camera, why it does not display when reverse the car?
Answer: Please check the Settings/system setting/Rear camera type. Make sure the "Original camera" option is activated.
